Product description
This consists of two parts: a body and a locking mechanism. The body is made of brass or plastic and has a series of barbs or ridges that grip the inside of the pipe when it is pushed onto the fitting. The locking mechanism is typically a clip or collar that snaps into place over the body, securing the pipe in place. Push-fit couplings are commonly used in both residential and commercial plumbing applications, such as in hot and cold water systems, underfloor heating, and central heating systems.
